Pulse Manual Index

Overview

Pulses RSS feeds are a great way to keep track of the progress of your projects. pulse™ provides RSS feeds at both the global and project level, enabling you to track a single project or all of the projects at the same time.

Subscribing to feeds

There are several RSS feeds available within pulse™:

  • Build results for all projects: available via the link in the top right corner of the "projects" page.
  • Build results generated by a specific project: available via any page that specifically deals with the project. For example, the project's home page, accessible by clicking on the project name on the "projects" page.
  • Build results generated by projects within a specific project group: available via the link in the top right corner of the group table on the "projects" page.
  • Build results for all projects displayed on your dashboard: available via the link next to the "my projects" heading on your dashboard.

Subscribing to a feed is as simple as taking the URL of a page or link and entering it into your feed reader.

Managing Feeds

RSS feeds can be globally enabled and disabled via the General Configuration panel.

RSS feeds are unauthenticated and therefore available to anonymous users. If you want to prevent anonymous users accessing your build results via RSS feeds, then you will need to either disable the feeds or block network access to the host running pulse™.
