Overview
The administration section of the pulse™ user interface provides access to all configuration. By default, the "projects" and "agents" tabs in this section are visible to all users, but the remaining tabs are only available to users with administrative privileges. Administrators should refer to the Setup and Administration page for further information.
Subsections
The administration section is divided into the following subsections, available from the tab bar:

| projects |
Displays the configuration of projects and project templates. Visible to all users, although the projects shown will be filtered using the view project permission. |
| agents |
Displays the configuration of agents and agent templates. Visible to all users, although the agents shown will be filtered using the view agent permission. |
| settings |
Displays and allows modification of general server settings, such as license, logging, email, Jabber and LDAP configuration. |
| users |
Displays and allows management of pulse™ users. |
| groups |
Displays and allows management of groups of users. |
| plugins |
Displays and allow management of installed plugins. See Plugins (Setup and Administration) for details. |
Panels
The configuration interfaces are divided into three panels:

Description |
| tree panel |
This panel shows the configuration structure as a tree. You can navigate to different forms by selecting tree nodes. |
| form panel |
This panel shows a form (or table for collections) for the selected tree node. The form allows you to edit and apply changes, if you have permission. Help links are also given to pop open the help panel. |
| help panel |
This panel shows help information for the current selected tree node. For example, it may describe all fields on a form. The help panel is hidden by default but can be opened by clicking a help link, or expanding it using the splitter on the right side of the page. |

Templated Configuration
The user interface for templated configuration (i.e. projects and agents) is similar to the panels above, but the tree panel is further divded into two sub-tabs:
