Overview
pulse™ uses a per-server licensing scheme where a valid license must be provided during the Setup Wizard. Four types of licenses are available from the zutubi
website:
- evaluation licenses, which allow you to try a fully-featured installation of pulse™ for a limited time period
- small team licenses, which allow teams with a small number of users and projects to user pulse™ for free;
- commercial licenses, which entitle the holder to full usage of a particular major version of pulse™; and
- open source/non-profit licenses, which allow approved open source projects and non-profit organisations to use pulse™ for free

License Expiry
If you have an evaluation license, expiry of the license will stop the core of your pulse™ server from processing build requests. All triggered builds will be ignored until the license is updated.
If you have a commercial license, support expiry will not affect the function of your pulse™ server. You will be able to continue using pulse™ for building. However, you will no longer be eligible for priority support, nor will you be able to upgrade to the next <major>.<minor> release.
