Commands

A command is a single unit of work in a build. Builds are broken down into stages, where each stage executes a recipe, which are themselves sequences of commands. The build may be as simple as a single command (e.g. a single execution of make), or may involve many commands. It may be advantageous to divide complex builds into multiple commands so that the time taken to run each step in the build can be monitored, and the progress reported in the web interface is more fine-grained.
